This auction is for a genuine Stihl piston stop tool, these are awesome for helping to remove flywheels, clutches etc.. by locking the piston in place so you can undo loosen parts etc.. fits the following model Stihl saws’

024, 026, 028, 029, 031, 032, 034, 036, 038, 039, 042, 048, 045, 046, 048, 064, 066, 084, 088 and the MS version MS240, MS260, MS270, MS280, MS290, MS310, MS340, MS360, MS341, MS361, MS380, MS381, MS390, MS440, MS441, MS460, MS461, MS640, MS650, MS660, MS661, MS880 and any other saw or machine that has a approx. 14mm spark plug thread. Does not work on HORIZONTAL shaft type saws like 051, 076, 020T, MS200T, if used it will break as the angle is not correct etc..

The tool is double ended with the two ends the same just one end has a wider stem normally used on the bigger saws etc..

Please note will not work on saws, trimmers that have the standard 10mm spark plug thread etc…. also note if it isn’t fitted correctly i.e not in the right place when used they can break, THIS IS “USER ERROR” and there is “NO WARRANTY” on this type of tool so you have been warned.

I use these every work day and are a workshop must. Works on all brands, makes and models that have a 14mm thread and where room is available on VERTICAL or INCLINED shaft machine etc..

Please note they are more likely to break when used on Horizontal type engines etc..
